Sarah & Chengchen

Sarah and Chengchen first crossed paths at the University of Connecticut’s gaming club. Chengchen arrived with a group of friends, while Sarah came on her own, hoping to meet new people. Their first interaction was a memorable one. Noticing her shyness, Chengchen warmly asked if she wanted to join their League of Legends game. It was a small gesture that sparked the beginning of something special.

Over the semesters, a genuine friendship grew. The turning point came when Chengchen asked Sarah out on a dinner date at one of their favorite college restaurants, Bonchon. After a few months of getting to know each other, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend — and she said yes.

Fast forward six and a half years later, after moving across the country to California, Chengchen proposed with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop on a beautiful beach in San Francisco. This moment marks the beginning of their next chapter together. One filled with love and adventure.
