Le Blanc Spa Resort

This is where all wedding events will take place. The link below will take you to the hotel site, with the group rate automatically applied. Note, guests are not required to book through the link below and are welcome to use any booking engine of their choice. However, we recommend checking the group rate for comparison to ensure guests receive the best rate possible! Guests of our wedding party will receive 20% off spa services for the duration of their stay. We chose Le Blanc, Los Cabos for the beautiful location with the ocean just steps away and visible from many of the room options. The resort offers five-star accommodations and service, and we love the wide variety of quality dining available that provides healthy and not so healthy options at any time of day. There's no shortage of activities on the resort, on a daily basis guests can enjoy anything from stand-up paddleboard yoga, pickleball, or a quick game of corn hole (Charlie is the reigning champion, but seeking a worthy opponent). There's also less active activities such as Bingo, painting classes, and live music! The spa on-site is phenomenal, and guests will receive a 20% discount on all services when they book via our room block. Our personal favorite part of Le Blanc is the dedicated butler service. They take care of everything from dining reservations, to bringing a very sunburned Sarah aloe (she has since decided to wear sunscreen), and their service is unmatched. Le Blanc's All-Inclusive Rate Includes: - All meals and beverages (including alcohol: top shelf liquors, beer and wine), with 8 different restaurant options - 24/7 in-room dining and fully stocked in-room mini-bar - Dedicated butler to attend to guest needs throughout the stay - Daily activities such as yoga, paddleboarding, painting, games, and karaoke - Suite accommodations - Resort amenities such as pool, gym, spa, hydrotherapy, pickleball, etc. - Complimentary airport transfer (to / from)

Passports Required

Mexico requires a valid US Passport for both entry and exit. We recommend submitting an application at least 8-weeks prior to your travel dates (8/24: 8-weeks to 10/19), otherwise passports may be subject to a rush fee! The nearest airport is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Guests staying at Le Blanc can book a complimentary shuttle between the airport and resort (to & from).

Transportation in Mexico

We strongly recommend guests use Uber and shuttles affiliated with their resort/hotel of choice while in Mexico. We like that Ubers and shuttles offer peace of mind via verification of a driver's background, and the passengers ability to verify they are getting into the right vehicle that will get them to their destination safely. Guests staying at Le Blanc will receive roundtrip shuttle transportation between airport and resort at no additional cost. Guests will receive clear instruction via e-mail regarding where to go, who to meet, and how to schedule upon booking. Mexico is a foreign country with different traffic laws, insurance requirements (even if you are insured in the US, coverage may not extend to Mexico), and policing practices - for this reason, we advise guests not to rent a car. While cabs are typically safe, cab drivers may demand cash or claim a credit card machine is broken, and similar to the US may not always take the best route to your destination to drive up the cost. In Mexico specifically, it is very important that guests ask to see any cab drivers official cab license before getting into the vehicle. While incidents are unlikely, they do happen. Again, guests may opt for whatever option works for them but our experience has been positive using shuttles and Uber only.

The Club at Solaz

Guests looking for alternate accommodations may consider Solaz, a nearby (non all-inclusive) resort. Solaz is just a short 4-minute drive from Le Blanc, and walkable via the beach. Rates tend to be lower than the Le Blanc nightly rate, but do not include meals / beverages. While there is no guest charge for the day of our ceremony, guests wishing to join us for events outside of October 19th (we will cover this cost) will be subject to a $150 per person/day guest fee to enter Le Blanc. Similar to Le Blanc, The Club at Solaz is a very safe property. The front of the resort is guarded 24/7, with attendants validating visitors are permitted on the grounds.

Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa

For guests looking for an alternative all-inclusive experience, Dreams Los Cabos is a great nearby option just 5-minutes away. Rates tend to be significantly lower than Le Blanc's all-inclusive rate. While there is no guest charge for the day of our ceremony, guests wishing to join us for events outside of October 19th (we will cover this cost) will be subject to a $150 per person/day guest fee to enter Le Blanc. Similar to Le Blanc, Dreams is a very safe Hyatt property. The front of the resort is guarded 24/7, with attendants validating visitors are permitted on the grounds.

AirBnB Rentals

Guests seeking alternate accommodations may be interested in booking an Airbnb instead of one of the local resorts. This is a good option for guests who may prefer to cook their own food instead of leaning on restaurants / hotels. While there is no guest charge for the day of our ceremony, guests wishing to join us for events outside of October 19th (we will cover this cost) will be subject to a $150 per person/day guest fee to enter Le Blanc. If guests do opt for an Airbnb, there are a few additional considerations to be aware of: - Check host ratings and reviews from past guests - If cooking in the Airbnb is something guests want, be sure to inquire about whether cookware is provided - while this is the norm in the US, not all Airbnb's in Mexico provide cookware by default - Take pictures of the residence on arrival to ensure you have proof to combat any charges stemming from host allegations of damage - Research the location of the Airbnb to ensure the neighborhood is safe - Guests staying at an Airbnb in Mexico may be subject to a 16% tax payable to the Federal Government of Mexico, this should be reflected in the final cost shown via the Airbnb website upon checkout, but we still recommend validating all fees before booking with the host.
