What day should we plan to arrive?

Answer

We will be hosting a welcome dinner on Friday August 3rd. This is the time when we would like to greet all of our guests and spend time catching up! If you are able to, please plan to arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning so you can spend the evening with us at Flemings Beach!

We will be hosting a Welcome Dinner on Friday August 3rd at DT Fleming Beach Park and a Brunch on Sunday August 5th at Castaway Cafe.

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please visit the Travel page. We have a contact on the island with a booking agent who will assist with finding your location. A special discount is being applied for our guests so make sure you reference Schmidt/Parks Wedding to redeem! Discount not available directly on their website, you will have to book through Audrey at My Perfect Space. Her contact information is provided on the Travel page.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. For the ladies, be advised, the ceremony will be taking place on the lower lawn. I would recommend wedges or a heel protector to avoid sinking into the grass. Only the ceremony will be taking place on the lawn, the cocktail reception and dinner reception will be at the main club house

Will I need a rental car?

Answer

We highly recommend it. The location of the wedding is approximately 30 minutes from the airport. Taxis services are available but pricey.

Will there be food available on your wedding day?

Answer

Absolutely! Immediately following the ceremony will be a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a sit down dinner at the Plantation House restaurant.

What side of the Island should we stay on?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are on the West side of Maui so we recommend finding accommodations in Kapaulua or Lahaina

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

There are two airports you could fly into. Kahului (OGG) would be considered the main airport. It is approximately a 30 minutes drive to Kapalua where our venue is and where we recommend our guests to find lodging. The second airport is Kapalua (JHM) it is a smaller airport so direct flights from the mainland are limited depending on where you are traveling from.

You only have a honeymoon fund available on the zola registry. Are you registered anywhere else?
