Grace, my older sister, has always been my mom’s calm to my chaos. Growing up, we definitely had our moments, chasing each other around with kitchen utensils and fighting as sisters do. Through it all, we’ve built a bond that’s only grown stronger with time. Life hasn’t always been easy, but going through it together brought us closer than ever. I’m so grateful for the role she’s played in my life, and for the steady, silent guidance of going through life 2 years ahead of me. Destani has been my best friend since middle school. We actually started out as school bus enemies (for absolutely no good reason), but thankfully we got over that and realized we were much better, and slightly more dangerous, as friends. We’ve grown up side by side, navigating life’s ups and downs together, and somehow managed to make every moment memorable. From deep conversations to very important crunch tests of Chick-fil-A nuggets, we’ve truly done it all. No matter the distance or how busy life gets, we always make time for each other. I can’t imagine my life, or this day, without Destani by my side. – Carlee

Allie and I have always orbited the same circles, playing sports together growing up and even being friends in college, though we were never super close then. We spent years as side characters in each other’s stories. It wasn’t until after college, when we both ended up in Charlotte, that we really connected. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed her personality and friendship. Allie has become a staple in my life, someone who quietly inspires everyone around her while still keeping things fun and mischevious. I’ve told Allie many times it’s probably for the best we got close later in life, because we definitely would’ve gotten into way too much trouble together as teenagers. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and can’t imagine her not being part of our big day. -Carlee

Hannah and I played sports together as kids and became friends in high school. I was probably a bad influence, and Hannah was the smart, well-put-together student. That phase didn’t last long (probably for the best at the time), and after graduating we naturally ended up spending more time together. Since both landing in Charlotte, Hannah and I have become a really great support system for each other. She’s my go-to activity and board game friend, highly competitive and giving strong only-child energy, even when she’s absolutely destroying everyone in Parcheesi. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and can’t imagine her not being part of our big day. -Carlee

Jonathan has been one of our closest friends for the past four years. He’s a real estate expert, an incredible host, and somehow always knows how to make people feel welcome. Whether he’s opening his home to friends or killing karaoke, Jonathan has a way of bringing people together. We are so lucky to have him standing by our side on such a special day.

Josh, better known as “Sauce,” is the guy you want around when something needs fixing. Whether he’s working on cars, or keeping a lawn looking pristine. Josh by nature and dependable through and through, Josh is someone you can always count on. We’re so happy to have him celebrating with us on our big day.

I’ve been lucky to call Sydney one of my good friends for the past 10 plus years, and Sarah has been fortunate enough to encounter her thought me! She’s a therapist, somehow manages to balance complete chaos with genuine compassion, and keeps everyone laughing with her endless energy. There’s never a dull moment when Sydney’s around, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re so thankful to have her celebrating with us.

Nicole and I met in college, where she was the voice of reason, constantly trying to keep me out of trouble. Every now and then I’d convince her to get into some with me. She quickly became a staple in our lives. Today she’s a parole officer, which feels like the perfect career for someone who’s always been responsible, dependable, and looking out for others. We’re so lucky to have her celebrating with us.
