Mount Hope (originally Montaup in the Pokanoket language) Farm, a nonprofit organization, is owned and operated by The Mount Hope Trust in Bristol, RI. Their mission is to steward their land and structures, including the 1745 Governor Bradford House and 1860 Barn to cultivate appreciation of their natural, historical and cultural character, and to make Mount Hope Farm accessible to all. Mount Hope Farm has been protected on the national register of historic places since 1976.
