This park has a special place in our hearts since it is where Caleb proposed to Sarah. Hermann Park has a bountiful assortment of entertainment: a golf course, an outdoor theater, a jogging track, a beautiful rose garden, picnic spaces, a butterfly exhibit, and even a museum.
A favorite among Houston’s joggers, Memorial Park also features tennis courts, playing fields, a fitness center, swimming pool and six miles of mountain and recreational bike trails along the bayous. One lap jogging or walking around Memorial Park is 2.88 miles, and there are distance markers located every 1/4 mile, in both directions.
We had our second date at this museum, and it turned out to be the perfect setting for a memorable experience. The atmosphere was just right for us to enjoy each other's company. We've since come back a few times, and we always recommend it to all our guests
