SFO is about 25 miles away, and the drive to and from can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. But it is very accessible via the local public transportation system (BART), which will likely take around an hour but has much less traffic.

The Oakland Airport is accessible by BART + rail shuttle. It may have fewer flight options, but is more like 20-30 minutes driving.
