He has made everything beautiful in its time- Ecclesiastes 3:11. A verse that rings true for both of us. Thinking back, and seeing God's hand in our entire relationship truly brings a warmth to our hearts that we hope to share with others. We met at a church by chance one weekend. One that was not officially either of our home churches. Sarah had started attending more regularly, and Brandon happened there by chance with a friend one weekend. We started as friends. Nothing, more than some messages on Facebook, usually memes that we thought were funny. Then over Spring Break 2025 Sarah needed her car looked at and Brandon offered. We haven't stopped hanging out since! What started as two friends hanging out turned into a love story only God could have written. We had both, in the weeks leading up to our first hangout, felt God pulling us to be content with being single, and to truly lean in and surrender to God. Both of us gave in and let God work out our hearts. He grew us into what he knew each of us needed. We give him all the glory because without him we wouldn't have the strong relationship we have today. He worked on our hearts to ensure we were ready for his timing, his will, and his way. We cannot wait to continue to build and strengthen our relationship in Christ, and to someday build a family that is rooted in him alone. We are so excited to continue to grow and let God use us for his plans.
