Where are we celebrating?

When should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive at 4:00pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Cocktail hour and reception to follow.

What should I wear?
Answer
Dress to impress! We encourage our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Think suits, blazers, sport coats, dressy jumpsuits, or knee-length, midi or maxi dresses. Feel free to wear comfortable shoes, including a fresh pair of sneakers.

Can I take pictures during the wedding?
Answer
We are asking for an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from using your phone or camera; however, feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes, there will be an open bar with wine, beer, and agave margaritas as well as soft drinks. Venue staff will check guests' IDs at the bar, so please remember to bring them.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If you received a plus one, their name will appear with your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that you not bring any additional guests.

Are my children invited to the wedding?
Answer
We would like for you to use our wedding as a date night out! Children are not invited to the wedding ceremony or reception. We have a limited guest list and ask that only those specified on the RSVP attend our wedding.

What is the weather like in February?
Answer
In Escondido, the average high is 69°F and the average low is 45°F. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, so please plan accordingly.

Will there be food options for dietary restrictions or preferences?
Answer
Yes, please indicate your allergies (e.g. gluten-free) and/or food preferences (vegan, vegetarian) when you RSVP. An alternative meal will be provided through our caterer.

Is outside alcohol allowed at the venue?
Answer
Outside alcohol is NOT permitted on the premises, including the getting ready suites, ceremony, and reception. Anyone who is found with outside alcohol on Forgotten Barrel Winery property shall be asked to leave the Venue immediately with no exceptions. Guests found bringing outside alcohol into the event will result in a loss of the entirety of the security deposit along with the potential for closing all bar service.

Can I smoke at the venue?
Answer
Forgotten Barrel Winery has a designated smoking area, and this area is the only area on the Winery property where smoking is allowed. However, the couple would prefer a smoke-free event.
Question
Can I bring and/or use cannabis at the venue?
Answer
Cannabis is not permitted on the venue premises at any time. Any guest or vendor found to be smoking cannabis will be asked to leave the event immediately.
