Sarah and Brad met while they were both attending school. They both grew up in the Vancouver/Camas area, but did not know each other. They even worked for them same company, but different stores in PDX, Best Buy, and did not know it! Both Sarah and Brad wanted to work while attending college, so they transferred to the Yakima, WA Best Buy to earn some extra money. (Sarah was attending CWU, Brad was attending Perry Tech). Brad transferred first in the year 2009. Sarah transferred in January 2010, and began working in the customer service department. Brad, who was an auto tech, needed something from customer service. Sarah, being the EXTREMELY hard worker she is, was discussing with co-workers how high she could kick. The first words to Brad (standing about a foot taller that Sarah) Sarah said were: "I bet I could kick you in the head." (she also proceeding to show him...kicking next to his head). Obviously, Brad was impressed, because they soon became inseparable. Sarah and Brad made their relationship official on February 14, 2010...Valentine's Day. Their first official date was a trip to VooDoo Doughnuts for bacon maple bars during a weekend home from school. It took Brad almost 8 years to propose...on December 23, 2017, Brad asked Sarah to be his wife on one knee at the Oregon Zoo Lights. Sarah and Brad have had a lifetime of memories in the short time they have been together, and cannot wait to have many, many more! Thank you for taking part in a celebration of their life together. Cheers!
