As many of their friends and family know, this story technically started with a rule that was meant to be followed… and immediately wasn’t. During Blake’s freshman year of football, his coach made it very clear to the team that Coach Greene had a daughter and she was completely off limits. Blake, of course, took that as more of a challenge than a rule. Sarah and Blake officially met later that year when they were 15 and 16, and it did not take long for them to become inseparable. On September 25th, 2017, Blake officially asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. They spent the rest of high school together, going to prom, football games, and softball games, and things did not change much other than the distance when it was time for Sarah to go to college. Sarah went home almost every weekend to spend time with Blake, and despite busy schedules and the distance, they never really wavered. They just kept choosing each other over and over again. As they approach their wedding day, Sarah and Blake will have been together for almost 10 years. What started as a high school relationship has grown right alongside them. Now, as they step into this next chapter, starting their careers and building a life together, they are so excited to finally become husband and wife. After all this time, it feels like exactly where they are meant to be.
