The North End is the Italian district, Ben's old neighborhood, and where we got engaged. Visit if you're looking for a bite to eat - some of our favorites are Bricco, Trattoria di Monica, and Forcella for sit down. Galleria Umberto is open for lunch only and has the best pizza and arancini. Don't forget to stop by Modern for a cannoli for dessert!
While you're in the North End, stop by the infamous dive bar where we went on one of our first dates. Bring cash!
Head to the TD Garden to check out the Celtics or Bruins in action. While you're in the area, stop by the Boston Public Market for a bite to eat, especially the cider donuts at Red Apple Farm or stroll a little farther towards the North End for a cup of chowder at The Sail Loft.
One of our favorite areas of Boston and a beautiful place to walk around, also Sarah's old neighborhood during medical school. Make sure to stroll down Charles Street towards the Public Garden and stop by Beacon Hill Books. Great brunch at Paramount. If you're looking for food or drink, check out Figs for pizza or the Sevens Ale House for a beer.
The Boston Public Garden is the oldest public garden in the US and one of our favorite places to walk or relax and read on a nice day.
Check out Trillium Brewing (multiple locations, the closest for us is Fenway location but the Fort Point Location is a bit more spacious) for the best beers in Boston. If you're looking for a day trip a bit farther out of the city, Treehouse Brewing is our hands down favorite.
