We're getting married!

Ben and Sarah met through mutual friends, Shawna & Drew, in January of 2023. Their story didn’t start with instant sparks—it took some time. At first, they’d take days to respond to each other’s texts, sometimes even pretending not to notice one another when they were out. Their first date wasn’t much better; they barely spoke! But by March, on their third date—watching an IU basketball game at her house—they finally saw the potential for something more. From that point on, things progressed quickly. Their relationship grew through dates to Kipplee’s, hockey games, party buses, and trips to Florida. Ben has been Sarah’s biggest supporter in her career, always cheering her on as she builds her dreams, while Sarah admires and cheers on Ben’s hard work and determination in everything he does. On November 2, 2024, Ben proposed at Watersound Beach, Florida, surrounded by special people who celebrated the moment with them. Now, they’re excited to begin this next chapter of their lives together.
