Ben and Sarah met at Oklahoma State University during their sophomore year of college! They noticed each other in their Psychology Statistics class but both were two nervous to approach the other... until Hinge came along. They connected online, instantly struck up a conversation, and the chemistry was instant. Sarah's first ever "match" on the app was Ben, and she deleted the app 30 minutes after she had his phone number! After six long months of Sarah being stuck in the friend zone, they began dating on March 13th, 2021. Sarah always joked she would never meet a boyfriend in her Psychology major (because it's 90% female) but hey, things have a way of working out! From late night gym workouts in the Colvin to going out on The Strip, Sarah and Ben stayed connected at the hip from the moment they started dating. Flash forward to December 2022, Ben graduates and moves to Texas! After 5 months of long distance, Sarah graduates in May 2023 and joins Ben in Dallas to start their post-undergraduate life together. After moving into a townhome together in 2024, it was pretty much cemented that Ben and Sarah were meant to be lifelong partners. Ben proposed to Sarah on December 15, 2024 at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Texas. With both Ben and Sarah loving Austin (and hoping to move there some day!) it was the perfect location. In front of a beautiful waterfall in the park, Ben got down on one knee and popped the big question, in which Sarah gave an ecstatic YES! It was truly the best day of both of their lives. Flash forward to now- it's wedding planning time for both of them as April 24, 2026 rapidly approaches. Ben and Sarah both cannot wait to start married life together and celebrate their big day with all of their family and friends!
