Fly into Boston and take a bus or rent a car from here. The Providence airport is much closer but harder to fly into

Try and fly into here if possible! However, flights in and out of Providence are usually hard to get. Uber or rent a car from here

Get off the train here. This is the easiest place to get to Newport from. You'll need to call an uber but it could be hard to call one here

Ride the train to providence! It's probably a bit further than Kingston but from here you can call an uber easily and probably have access nearby to rent a car
