FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Long and Bayllon Matson
We know weddings come with lots of little wonders and questions, so we’ve gathered this enchanted FAQ scroll to help make everything as magical and easy as possible for our guests. From what to wear to where to park your carriage, we’ve got you covered! If your question isn’t answered here, just send us a message — we’re always happy to help from our little tower of wedding planning magic!
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can, so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is March 19th.

Question

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we did not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "no." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will be missed. We ask that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'd "Yes," but find you cannot make it please notify the bride at (850)-380-4462.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be Delicate & Airy Garden Semi-Formal — think soft, romantic fabrics, floaty silhouettes, floral prints, and light, graceful colors perfect for a fairytale evening. Sundresses, midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or light suits will be right at home in our garden setting.

Question

Is there a color code?

Answer

Yes! To match our Rapunzel-inspired theme, we’d love for our guests to embrace a light, ethereal palette. Think sunset pastels, airy florals, earthy tones, and gentle metallics ✨. If you’d like to coordinate with our dreamy color story, here’s our inspiration: 💜 Dark Purples (the bridesmaids will be in light purple so please avoid!) 🌸 Light Pink/blush pink 💛 Gold yellows 🌿 Soft Green/dusty olive 🍑 Peach/soft oranges 💙 Light Blues 🥥 Any soft browns (but not white/cream!) PLEASE AVOID white, cream, light yellows and light purples so our bride and bridesmaids can shine! ✨ Any soft pastels or earthy, natural tones will be perfect in our enchanted garden setting.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with all the people we care about, but due to venue capacity and planning, our guest list is limited. Once you receive a wedding invitation you will be able to look at the RSVP page for details.

Question

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-centered celebration. To help everyone fully enjoy the evening, we’re kindly limiting attendance to adults only, with the exception of immediate family children who have received a personal invitation. We are currently working on setting up a nearby kid care space for those family members bringing little ones, so they’ll have a fun, safe place to hang out during the festivities. If that isn’t possible, we kindly ask that children stay home for this enchanted evening. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony to keep the moment special and distraction-free for everyone. Our professional photographer will capture all the important moments, and we can’t wait to share those beautiful memories with you! Feel free to snap photos and share the fun during the reception and other parts of the day. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep the ceremony unplugged!

Question

Will there be an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you! Since we’re both under 21, there won’t be an open bar or alcoholic beverages served at the wedding. But don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of delicious non-alcoholic drinks and fun refreshments to keep everyone happy and hydrated. Thanks for understanding and celebrating with us!
