Our story began thanks to a perfect match made by our best friends, Emma and Jacob Olgard—who now have the honor of officiating our wedding. Austin met Emma in nursing school, and Emma and Sarah have been best friends since childhood and still are to this day. After Emma and Jacob introduced us, Austin messaged Sarah on December 31, 2024, and from that moment on, everything just clicked. Our first date was at Bar Down on January 6, 2025, followed by ice skating on a cold winter evening. From that very first date, we were inseparable—falling into something that felt easy, natural, and meant to be. Fast forward to a -37° day in the very same spot where it all began, Austin proposed on January 24, 2026. From a simple introduction to a love that quickly became home, we feel so lucky for how our story unfolded, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
