We met at Rutgers in August 2018 while Anthony was working on his PhD and Sarah was a consultant with his lab. Sarah was sassy and sarcastic and Anthony gave it right back. We bonded over catnip and insects.

Just 3 months after starting at the lab, Sarah had decided to move on with her career, but not before giving Anthony one last chance to ask her out. He took the *very obvious* bait and they set up a date to meet in New Brunswick at a brewery to have beer and apps. After their Bavarian pretzel was finished, Sarah polished off the rest of the cheese with her finger and it was then that Anthony fell in love with the girl who loved food.

After a year and a half of going back and forth to New Brunswick, Marlton, and Long Beach Island, Covid hit and Anthony came to live with Sarah, her cats, and her parents for a few months while the world was on pause. They got even closer over this time and took it as a good sign that they still woke up happy to see one another every morning and were sad when Anthony moved back to New Brunswick.

In March 2021, Sarah finally decided it was time to move out and into her own place in Hightstown, NJ with Oslo and Cole. In May, Anthony came to live in Hightstown and the two have enjoyed their days together since.

In May 2023 at a music festival, amidst all of their friends engagements and pending engagements, Anthony and Sarah decided to get married the following year. In July, they toured one venue, fell in love, and picked a date! In August at the family shore house, Anthony handed Sarah a new Lego set to open that contained the ring, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. Now we can't wait for you all to celebrate with us May 11, 2024!
