FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding reception and ceremony calls for formal attire. For ladies, we recommend long or cocktail-length dresses, while gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or blazer. We kindly ask that you avoid casual items like jeans, shorts, or polo shirts.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that you only bring the guests specifically named on your invitation and we want to have an intimate dinner experience for our big day. Our reception venue has limited seating, and we want to ensure a comfortable experience for all of our cherished friends and family. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What should I expect at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be about half an hour, it is not a full mass. Please ensure that you arrive well before 3pm to allow time to be seated before the bridal party enters.

Question

Are you having a wedding in India?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with our family and friends both in the United States and India and embrace the traditions in each of their respective locations. We will likely have a reception only party in India in 2027. If you are interesting in attending the reception in India, please indicate in your RSVP you would like more information.

Question

What kind of food are you having?

Answer

Glad you asked! We are having heavy appetizers during our cocktail hour, then a family style meal with chicken, fish, and vegetarian options with all the fixings. If you have a dietary restriction, kindly let us know in your RSVP.

Question

What is the schedule for the day?

Answer

Sarah and Anmol will be married earlier in the day followed by an evening dinner gathering. There is about a 35 minute drive between the ceremony and the reception space. We are grateful to celebrate with you in whatever way you are able to join us!

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

The church has extensive parking and the Bucyrus Club has a designated parking lot. If you need to leave your car overnight, the Bucyrus Club parking lot is only used by the club and is not shared.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have provided some recommended hotels in the "Travel" tab of our website.

Question

What can guests expect at the bar?

Answer

We are having an open bar for the duration of the evening with plenty of cocktails (and mocktails!) to go around.

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at 2:30 for the ceremony and 5:30 for cocktail hour. If you arrive at the Bucyrus Club early, you can park in the Bucyrus Club parking lot and visit the bars nearby and on the next street over.

Question

Will the seating at the reception be open or assigned?

Answer

We will have long tavern style tables and a family style dinner. We have elected not to assign seats.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are indoors. There will be an outdoor patio space available during the reception for those that would like to enjoy it.

Question

Who can I contact if I have questions on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Please contact the groom, Anmol Sharma, at 414-242-3925 by text message or Whatsapp.
