Castillo de San Marcos National Monument
Located downtown St Augustine, this historic landmark provides daily tours. Located just steps away from the heart of St Augustine with lots of shopping and food options. Several museums - including Ripleys Believe it or not - around this area as well.
St Johns Town Center
From high end shopping to indoor skydiving, Town Center is full of activities and places to shop or grab a bite to eat. About a mile away from the preferred hotel.
Jacksonville Beach Pier
Closest beach to the hotel. Great for lounging, catching some sun or a quick dip- might be a bit cold! Just steps away from local bars and restaurants if you need a break from the sun.
Mickler Beach
This beach is a bit further but the best in the area if searching for sharks teeth and other fossils.
The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary
Wildlife sanctuary with lions, tigers, bobcats. Open for self-guided tours every day between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. On Friday and Saturday only they are open in the evening between 6pm and 7pm with the opportunity to watch them feed the animals at 7pm.
Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
Local museum with art and beautiful gardens to explore. Located in downtown Jacksonville not far from Riverside where you can walk along the river and grab a bite to eat.
