Alec and Sarah met how 40% of couples meet these days… on a dating app. Shout out to Hinge aka “the app that’s meant to be deleted”! However, these two had some serendipitous connections before. Alec’s fraternity was one block from Sarah’s sorority and they had mutual friends (Sarah even has photos from college in the Alpha Sig basement with Alec’s Greek family). Fast forward to their early careers, Sarah was an accounting & finance recruiter, Alec was working at KPMG (one of the Big 4 accounting firms). Sarah had tried recruiting him (picture getting hung up on cold calls and 8 LinkedIn messages with no replies). So when the Hinge algorithm worked its magic, these two finally met! While Sarah was secretly hoping she could recruit him and make commission, she had NO idea that she was about to meet her favorite person in the world. Their first date was going out in Ballard at El Barracho’s and having margaritas. They talked about everything from work to family to friends and they both didn’t want the date to end. Their second date was a full Sunday Funday around Seattle - they ventured to Pike Place Market, got beers & pizza at Old Stove Brewery overlooking the Puget Sound, a quick stop at Alibi Room, and they ended the evening holding hands & cuddling at The Hard Rock Cafe roof lounge. From then on, the relationship flourished and so many memories were made - from music festivals, international adventures in Costa Rica & Europe, wine nights during COVID, Husky games with friends, new jobs, and a whole lot of love and laughter. :) We are honored you would be here for our special day & can’t thank you enough.
