It was April 2016 when Sarah and Alan were first introduced by chance through a mutual friend. Over the course of the next few months they ran into each other occasionally and easily developed a friendship over their love of basically all the same things. They bonded over food, wine, travel and the fact that their birthdays were only one day apart (plus a few years..). On election day November 2016, Sarah and Alan both left work early and decided to meet for a 'de-stress' drink. They agreed to meet up the following day to either celebrate victory or drown their sorrows. And so they did meet up the following day, and pretty much every day after that...and the rest is history! ​
