Question

Will I need my passport to attend?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure you bring your passport with you as you will need it for both entry and exit to Mexico.

Is the border difficult to get through?

Answer

Generally, the border is very straightforward getting in to Mexico and will not take long at all. You may have to show your passport, you may not. Be sure to hug the far right lane and head towards the beach roads as you drive in. Leaving Mexico, it can take a long time if crossing after 9am. If you're concerned about this, we recommend parking your car at San Diego Airport and taking part in our shuttle reservations. How does the shuttle from the U.S. Mexico work?

Answer

1. Fill out the form linked in the 'Travel' section. Enter in your arrival information and how many people in your party or "Pax". 2. Once all the information is collected our shuttle company will begin organizing shuttles to ensure efficiency. Pricing will depend on the number of people on your shuttle, but will range from $40-$100 per person. You will receive confirmation closer to the day of your arrival. 3. Download Whatsapp to ensure you are able to contact Vino Sobre Ruedas, the shuttle company. 4. Arrive at the airport, pickup location TBD. If driving from Los Angeles, we recommend finding an airport parking structure near San Diego Airport. We do not anticipate anyone waiting longer than 1 hour for their shuttle. You’ll receive exact details about your shuttle closer to the day of your arrival, around September. 5. Hop back on for your return trip. Do not forget your passport!

Is there a beach nearby?

Answer

Although you'll take a breathtaking oceanside car ride to Valle de Guadalupe, it is about 40 minutes inland. Ensenada is a popular beach town near by that we recommend exploring.
