If you're thinking of extending your stay on the coast of South Carolina past the duration of the wedding weekend then you must visit Charleston. Less than 75 miles from Pawleys Island is the beloved Charleston Historic District. Tons of great shopping, world-class restaurants, and rich history makes Charleston one of our favorite places for a day trip. We spent Aaron's 35th birthday in Chucktown and had a ball!
