Enrico’s Best Man
Filippo is younger than me by three years and while I’ve been the overprotective brother who knows best (with good reason - he almost killed us in Vietnam on a moped) he’s also been the curious one to push me to try new things (like crickets or special pizza in Cambodia). Whether we are backpack traveling, driving cross country in our OG Scion or deep sea fishing in a storm in the Keys, it’s always an adventure with Filippo. No matter where in the world we are, I’m comforted in knowing he’s just a call or just a flight a way.
Alex’s Maid of Honor
Leigh and I grew up on the same street but didn’t become close friends until about middle school. After that point, we became inseparable: going on each other’s family vacations (racking up room service like no one’s business), weekly sleepovers and always holding the each others’ #1 on MySpace’s “Top 8”. Not sure how we survived our teens and early 20s but am so incredibly glad to have her by my side then and now.
Alex’s Matron of Honor
I met Nicole sophomore year of college and my earliest memory was of her waking me up from a nap so I could join her to go drinking. This bullying has continued throughout our friendship, but I’m usually better off for it. She’s forced me to ride a bike on highways and through elite coastal towns, survive music festivals without sleep and go to the Orlando Cracker Barrel far more than I’m comfortable admitting. Whether we are in pajamas on a night in or dressed in theme on a night out, I know who I want persuading me.
Alex’s Bridesmaid
Sam and her dog (RiP Jazz) responded to a Craigslist ad looking for a roommate at my friends’ college house and the rest is history. Between spending too much time in her studio and becoming roommates in Montclair to living under the stairs in BK and those winter nights in Rincon, we became best peeps. I can always count on Sam for something to wear from her closet and for a good heart to heart.
Alex’s Bridesmaid
I met Rebecca most recently but feel like I’ve known her forever. A fellow dachshund enthusiast, Rebecca and I bonded over much more than just our love for lazy beach days, cuddling, elaborate skincare discussions and Disney movies. It’s true… everybody.. agrees despite the tiny exterior, her heart is …. Larger than life.
Enrico’s Groomsman
Eric and I met freshman year, where I envied to be part of his “black hat clique.” While that didn’t exactly happen, he did convince me to move across the country to Brooklyn with him after graduation. It was there that we began competing professionally (or so we thought) in Big Buck Hunter and shuffleboard. Whether in NY or LA - Havana or Patagonia, there’s no one else I would compete on arbitrary challenges with.
Enrico’s Groomsman
We met as two kids new to the neighborhood but quickly bonded over Soul Caliber and trying to beat each other in exam scores. From SoCal to Korea and back again, no matter where we were Connor has always kept me motivated and focused on the next adventure.
Enrico’s Groomsman
Brandon and I met freshman year of college where you could find us either playing Ciara videos on repeat or tearing up the dance floor (or me trying to keep up.) While he later went on to earn his JD and PHD, I imagine he would remember our GGG most fondly. Whilst Brandon has been busy over the years within his career and his side gig as a Harry Styles stunt double, I can always count on him for a solid heart to heart and to get into a little trouble (sorry Faraz).
Enrico’s Groomsman
Chris and I bonded over food and travel and the memories made in between. Like a leg of lamb we roasted in the middle of the woods, a roasted pork knuckle in Prague that could feed a large family or a full American breakfast cooked on the Coleman grill in Yellowstone - there is no better souvenir from travel than a great meal with a great friend.
