We met officially the first week of college at OSU playing euchre in our freshman dorm, although our paths crossed at least once on the high school marching band field. Lakota West beat Medina...

We became best friends through our years at OSU helping each other work toward our life goals. After graduation, Sarah got into graduate school in Georgia, and Travis wasn't far behind. He quickly moved to North Carolina to start a new office and make long weekend trips to see Sarah in Georgia. After graduation Sarah packed her bags and her cat and moved to Charlotte to be with Travis. Two years later we are engaged and living in Ohio working on fixing up our first house.

In December in Charlotte Travis took Sarah to Christmas Town, a super cheesy lights show. It was crowded and traffic was crazy, so he said he wanted to go somewhere else. We pulled up the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens and Travis pulled out tickets. Sarah was suspicious and watched Travis get more and more nervous as we walked around to see more lights. After several hours of wandering in the cold Travis found a perfect spot and got down on one knee. Sarah said yes before he could even say anything! We ran out of the gardens to have pizza for dinner :)
