How We Met

October 2, 2016

Sarah and Jonathon had known each other for many years in school. Their relationship really started to grow once they had gone to the same church. One Sunday afternoon, Sarah had invited Jonathon over to her house to help make lunch with her brothers and friend. After lunch, they were all running around outside. Sarah's youngest brother, Timmy, had picked up on the fact that they definitely being flirtatious. So what did he do? Timmy ran inside and quickly shut the door behind him, and locked it so they couldn't get it. He then cracks the window open and says... "You guys would make a really cute couple!" In total embarrassment, the future couples faces both turned bright red. Little did Timmy know, he was absolutely right. That was just the start of their love for each other!

The Proposal

July 4, 2020

Sarah and Jonathon have always enjoyed going up to the Gulledge family cabin in Eagle River, Wisconsin, for the spectacular Independence Day Fireworks. However, Jonathon had big plans on this trip. After a perfect day of horseback riding, tubing down the Wisconsin river, and eating pizza from the local pizzeria with family, Jonathon took Sarah for an evening boat ride on the lake in her Dad's boat. While Sarah was looking around out on the water, taking pictures of the pretty clouds, Jonathon got down on one knee in the little tin boat. She said "YES!" and sobbed. She had no idea. The two of them spent the remainder of vacation, no longer as boyfriend and girlfriend, but as husband and wife to-be. We are so excited to celebrate our coming together in marriage with you!
