We're getting married!

As most of you already know, Trent and I met at the Branham Lounge in 2013, where we worked together nightly. Over the next two years of bartending together and hanging out at gatherings, we came to know each other well. I don't mind admitting I was attracted to him first! ( I mean, he IS the total package! ) But while we were at Golden Gate Fields, for a friends birthday, I was shocked when he kissed me on that escalator! We became inseparable soon after, realizing in awe for years to come, how perfect we were for each other but cherishing the time we had to become fast friends before dating.

We were moving across the country. We packed up everything from our tiny house in San Jose into a POD and shipped it off to ATX. With about two weeks to kill, we decided to take our road trip up north before making the venture to our new home. We planned to visit his sister and see the Oregon coast, head to Seattle, and then back down to the bay to say our goodbyes. Little did I know, Trent would pull off the ultimate surprise pit stop along the way. With help from his sister, Erin, and secret photographers, I had no idea what was in store that Super Bowl Sunday. We planned a stop at the Willamette Valley Vineyards. We had an amazing, yet oddly private, tour of the beautiful vineyard and winery. I remember walking to a lookout point and making a remark to him about how it all felt like an episode of the Bachelor. It really was the most gorgeous place! Luckily it was just the two of us, one other couple and our tour guide. It also just so happened that lovely couple had a very professional camera, and didn't mind snapping a few photos for me during the tour. When the love of my life got down on one knee, suddenly that perfectly pieced together, season finale of the bachelor seeming day.... all. made. sense! It was one of my favorite days with my new fiancé. He did such an excellent job in keeping such a huge secret and nailing all of these small and oh-so thoughtful details. Trent went above and beyond to make our proposal extra special and a day I will never forget. We can not wait for this next chapter in our lives! We want to keep creating these memories in each and every aspect of our lives together. We are beyond excited to celebrate this special day with ya'll. Let's make some wonderful memories!
