Matron of Honor
I married into the family, but let’s be honest—it was mostly because of Sar. She gets me more than my husband sometimes. She’s my realest living room dance partner and the one person who will watch horror movies with me. From “hold on eh allyuh, HOLD ON” down the water slide at Splish-Splash to “Why don’t you give Faddy a chance?” up the ride at Coney Island to being the witness for our marriage. We had a “smoking” good time at K-BBQ 🤫 and almost lost our lives Go-Karting: rooka-rooka-roo, babe! You’re getting married! I’m so excited to celebrate this incredible new chapter with you on the dance floor!

I believe fate brought us together because we were literally the last ones standing in the roommate search. From co-parenting fish, devouring entire family size tiramisu cakes, hunting for isopods 🐞…if I had to do college again, wouldn’t be with anyone else! You became my sister, bestie, and home away from home . 🥹I’m so happy you found the love of your life and can’t wait to celebrate this moment with you! Wishing you and Ravi all the happiness in the world! ❤️

I’m Kaitlyn and Sarah and I met in college while both participating in a club called the Stony Brook Ice Girls! I was instantly drawn to her because of how warm, bright and bubbly she is. Sarah and I have so many memories it’s hard to pick just one to share! Whether we were smuggling Wendy’s into the movie theatre for a sneaky double feature, or swimming under a murky waterfall in Hawaii, having tea with a cardboard cut out of Queen Elizabeth, or just enjoying each others company (with pizza and wine of course!). I’m so endlessly grateful to have made such a beautiful friend in Sarah and I can’t wait to see how her life with Ravi continues to unfold :)

One of my fondest memories with Sar is when I first visited New York during the summer vacation. Her mom took us to a waterpark, and we were so excited and her mom had us in similar bathing suits lol. We went on as many rides as possible, only stopping to eat and go again. Sar I have seen you grow into an amazing woman and can't wait to see you take this next step in life. It reminds me of when you would beg me to play the board game of Life over and over -and you would always get excited when you got married in the game. Congratulations!

I am forever grateful to Sarah for welcoming me into her life in high school. Her contagious laugh drew me right in and our bond only grew closer. In watching Sarah grow from an art student to an art teacher, from Kool-Aid hair to a radiant young woman, I’m so excited to see all the dreams we talked about in high school finally come true in this amazing new chapter of life!!!

Our high school years are some of my fondest memories because of you, Sarah. From our homeroom tea sessions (literally and figuratively- because that chai cup was everything) to our stage crew antics (both pre and post show), we never missed a beat. The way we could literally have a whole conversation just through looks/stares or just a prolonged laugh, you are my other half! Congratulations meri jaan! Wishing you an abundance of blessings and love! 💜

Ravi is the first grandson and I’m the first granddaughter in our family. I grew up with Ravi as more of a brother than a cousin. With a family full of boys, Ravi, Akshay, Aarin and Ajay, I’m looking forward to Sarah joining our family and bringing in more female energy! I wish Ravi and Sarah a beautiful marriage and I’m happy that I will finally have a sister!
Best Man
I’ve known Ravi since kindergarten. I still remember the first day walking into the classroom and immediately going to play with the first kids I saw, and there began a lifelong friendship. Some of my favorite memories of us are playing Pokémon together in our squad after school, racing each other in the pool at summer camp, and throwing some birthday bangers in college. We’ve been through thick and thin together and I’m so proud to be at your side in such a beautiful moment in your life. Best wishes for the future, and may your lives be filled with love, fulfillment, and blessings.

Ravi is my big brother. Ravi always gets us Xaga which is my favorite restaurant since I was little, and that's the first thing I think of now when I think of Ravi. Sarah and Ravi I hope you guys have such an amazing time with each other and build newer memories and many happy ones. I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys at your wedding. Sarah, when I first met you I felt a sigh of relief because when I met you I knew you were gonna be someone important to our family and my intuition was right. Ravi, I’m so happy you proposed to Sarah knowing that she is the love of your life and that you will spend the rest of your life with her and grow old together. I hope you both have a wonderful time and know that I love you both.

I first met Ravi when I was an infant. Though I can’t remember much, I do recall a very obnoxious voice demanding a receipt for my birth to send me back. I don't remember much from those days, as I was still a baby, but Ravi’s "brilliant" ideas started to take shape. One of his first schemes was creating paper swords & shields to fight our great-grandmother. We got our butts handed to us, but Ravi just laughed it off and moved on to the next idea. We were the kings of mischief, Ravi as the mastermind. The most legendary memory of all is after one of Ravi’s baseball games, when he hit his first ball. While he practiced, I pretended to play catch with myself. That’s when he came up with an absurd idea: "What if I put my younger brother’s head on the T?" I, trusting my older brother, went along with it. I rested my head on the tee, and then—BAM! He hit me straight in the head with the bat. I woke up confused, staring at the sky, with my mom rushing to me and Ravi grinning like a maniac. I’m convinced he did it to "toughen me up." Ravi is the prankster, the guy who always pushes boundaries. With Sarah officially joining the Mangroo family, she’s the yin to his yang, the calm to his storm. She keeps him grounded, even when his ideas are over the top. I’m filled with joy seeing Ravi finally settle down with someone who truly gets him. Welcome to the family, Mrs. Sarah Mangroo. We’re excited to have you, and here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and hopefully fewer head injuries!

Ravi is my eldest cousin. My favorite memories with Ravi is spending time playing video games like Fortnite, Roblox and also playing games like chess. Ravi and I love sushi. We both love spicy tuna rolls from Xaga. If Ravi could he would have his wedding at Xaga. I wish Ravi and Sarah a fun time during their wedding and happy life together. Welcome to our family Sarah!

I remember meeting Ravi in Elementary School. Specifically through the before and after school programs where we would begin hanging out regularly. One of my most cherished memories with Ravi is grabbing Chinese food after our Jazz Band rehearsals and concerts. Those late-night talks about life and the future deepened the bond we share, making our brotherhood even more special. Happy to be a part of this momentous occasion with you both ❤️ we wish you a lifetime of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories 😄

I met Ravi at Hofstra through mutual friends. One of the funniest memories I have with Ravi is when I crashed Ravi and Sarah’s second date. Ravi was going to take her home and I was walking to McDonald’s and Sarah convinced him to drive me and I rode with them. All the best to my brother and his other half. Wishing you all the love, happiness and many more McDonald’s trips with your favorite third wheel.

Although Ravi and I went to the same high school, we didn’t interact until I randomly saw him in college 400 miles away from home. Sometimes we would stay up late playing video games and we’d often order food delivery. During the winter, I knew every time Ravi would go outside, he would slip on the same piece of ice outside of his apartment.

From the moment Ravi showed me the ring, I knew he was serious and it’s been a ride since then—speaking of rides, I’ll never let him forget the time I smoked him at Go-Karting, or our on-going pool rivalry. He takes his wingman duties seriously like when we snuck off to hit up the liquor store during the family trip, where I also schooled him on how to keep the ladies happy by wearing drop-seat onesies to breakfast. Here is to more laughs, more lessons, and a lifetime of joy with my little sis, Sarah.
