The engagement started a few weeks before I even popped the question, and that was when everyone knew about it except Sarah. Once I got the blessings from the parents I knew the best time to do it was during our trip to Cancun. She had no idea, hehe. There was a spot in the resort that said "AMOR" in the background and I knew that would be a perfect place to do it because the pictures would look nice and she would never suspect it. The tricky part was to have her go to that specific spot with all of my family and not suspect anything. That was when I told her we were going for churros, but she did not get any churros she got the surprise of a lifetime.
