When should I book my flight?

Answer

It is recommend booking the flight AFTER your passport has arrived and a minimum of 6-9 months prior to wedding, the sooner the better! Cheaper rates are those booked in advance. See the "Air & Stay" tab for suggested airlines.

How should I pack for my stay?

Answer

Please take the tropical temperature into account when packing for your stay. Keep in mind, it is the Tropics, so while it may be 80°F it could feel like 90°F+ with light showers randomly, and lows in the night of 70°F. Those temps are actually year-round. Don't forget sunscreen! Please see, "Itinerary" for dress codes ranging from Casual to Semi-Formal. Keep in mind, some land excursions may require close-toed shoes. * Please be respectful of inappropriate apparel as this is a wedding event of both the Bride and Groom's families. Appropriate, less revealing, dresses, shirts, shorts, etc., would be greatly appreciated for this event *

What if my passport doesn't arrive in time?

Answer

Please be advised passport arrival ranges from 7-9 weeks. It is recommend to complete all forms and get everything mailed via Expedited and with a 1-2 day shipping return as soon as possible to eliminate any delays. However, if the passport does not arrive in time, unfortunately, you cannot board any international flights without a passport. See, "Air & Stay" tab to Passport link information. * Passports CANNOT expire before June 2025. You will not be allowed to fly.

Can I take photos or use my phone during the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

The Bride and Groom would really love for everyone to be present and in the moment during the ceremony. Please no phones or photos

Should I purchase Travel insurance?

Answer

Travel insurance is advised in order to help protect your travel investment, as well as to assist in ensuring medical coverage when traveling outside of the United States. Visit "Air & Stay" for a link to the Bride and Groom's recommended Travel Insurance. Kindly contact them directly for any assistance.

Do I need an International phone plan for Belize?

Answer

Unfortunately there will be a fee to use your phone. The Bride and Groom recommend contacting your cellular provider for more details prior to leaving the USA. Another option is to use an app like, WhatsApp, over Wi-Fi to make calls, receive texts, etc., or go off the grid and turn the phone off completely!

Belize uses the two flat pin style of adapter plug that is used in the United States.

What does "All-Inclusive" include?

Answer

Unlimited meals Unlimited local Alcoholic drinks and beverages Roundtrip local transportation All hotel and sales taxes and park entrance fees for inland tours when you select packages that include tours Daily Housekeeping * Local drinks include: Soft drinks, local beer, and mixed drinks (mixed drinks from a prescribed list made with local gin, local vodka, local rum, and local brandy) * If you would like to bring Tequila or other Alcohols, please feel free! Remember that most airlines have a 50lb limit for checked luggage. Anything over 50lb will require a charge.

What is the climate in Belize?

Answer

The climate of Belize is subtropical, with an average annual temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Belize’s water temperature averages between 80 and 83 degrees. The dry season is December through May. However, because Belize is subtropical, scattered showers are a possibility while still being humid and warm.

Will there be time to explore Belize?

Answer

Yes! All guests will have a lot of time to explore the beautiful island daily! The Bride and Groom recommend taking some excursions! See, "Leisure" tab for ideas!

Can I drink the water?

Answer

Since the resort has water filtration plants on property, drinking the water in your room is perfectly safe. However, bottled water can be purchased.
