The Tap Room at Dubsdread
If the weather is nice we enjoy sitting outside on the lawn or on the patio. There's live music on the lawn on Thursday nights from 6pm to 9pm. Happy hour is 11am to 6pm everyday. Great place for couples or big groups.
Sixty Vines
Good Food & Drinks. Great place for groups or a fun night out. We normally like sitting at the bar unless we're with a group. Can be a bit noisy at times.
Permanent Vacation
Permanent Vacation is a cool and creepy tropical destination located inside The Copper Rocket in Maitland. One of our go-to spots for small bites & drinks. This is definitely more than a restaurant, it's an experience you must try. Be sure to go online & book ahead of time, they get booked out really quick.
Death In The Afternoon
Our favorite little hideaway date night spot on Mills Ave. Lots of bars & restaurants walking distance of each other along this stretch.
Forward Slash Distillery & Blending House
Great cocktails & vibes! They don't sell food but sometimes there are food trucks outside so if you're hungry call ahead to find out if they have any food trucks out, be sure it's something you'll eat or get dinner before heading over. This is our go-to spot for drinks.
Bar Louie
We love Martinis & Burgers from Bar Louie. Mondays are $8 Signature Martinis All Day & Tuesdays are $8 Burgers with fries or tots all day!
Bar Italia Winterpark
Italian Food. We enjoyed trying new dishes we've not had before here. It does get crowded here, you may want to reserve ahead of time but not necessary. Lots of bars & restaurants walking distance away from each other.
Mead Botanical Garden
We love doing relaxing walks through the gardens. Free admission.
Harry P Leu Gardens
There's a fee to get in but it's well worth it. You can purchase tickets upon entrance. Admission ticket includes one single-day admission to select garden areas and Historic Leu House Museum guided tours. General Admission is usually $15 for Adults & $10 for children, but be sure to check the website or call to confirm before heading there as they sometimes have events.
