Our story begins at a BBQ Festival on Tryon Street in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, where the scents of smokers and homemade Carolina sauces lifted our hearts away. After meeting with overlapping friend groups, Sarah and Matt laid eyes on each other for the first time. In addition to the immaculate offerings of BBQ, delicious sides of banana pudding and mac and cheese were shared amongst friends until we all decided to grab drinks at Connolly's On Fifth. From there, Matt got to know Sarah on the dance floor and eventually had the pleasure of scoring her number! It was only a short time later that they took their first official date to NoDa (North Davidson) to grab drinks at the Blind Pig and then to witness a most unsuspecting show … that which involved magic! The magic only continued after their first date, enjoying every minute they've shared together since.

After an enjoyable stroll on the Harbor Walk, Matt surprised Sarah along the waterfront of Boston's sunset skyline. Later into the evening the two celebrated with a toast of champagne atop a nearby rooftop restaurant followed by a memorable dinner and dessert.
