Our Beginning

In a world of endless scrolling and ordinary swipes, fate quietly stepped in - using Facebook Dating as its instrument. (Yes, we suppose we owe a polite nod to Mark Zuckerberg, but we know this story was written by Someone far greater) The moment he saw her smile, he says he was done for. Completely. Meanwhile, she saw his pictures, thought he was undeniably cute with a smile to match, and made the simple decision to swipe right - unaware she had just stepped into her forever. From the very first conversation, something felt different. What began as casual messages quickly became daily talks, late-night calls, and the growing thought that this was no coincidence. Within a week, the app was deleted, but their story was just beginning. There was only one small obstacle: three hours of highway stretched between them. For a month, they built something steady and certain without ever being in the same room. And then came the day that felt almost scripted. An Indian restaurant. Friends gathered around. Anticipation in the air. Her friends, having stayed up far too late into the night before, were running on fumes - half asleep and doing their best to look alive for this long-awaited first meeting. But the moment he walked in and their eyes met, none of that mattered. The nerves disappeared . The noise faded. In that instant, they both knew: this was it. He had grown up in Hyderabad, rooted in rich Indian traditions before moving to the United States. She had grown up in Arkansas and has just moved to South Carolina at exactly the right time. Two different backgrounds. Two different cultures. One perfectly timed plan. What began as a swipe became the beautiful blending of Indian and American traditions, families, and faith. It became sharing customs, celebrating differences, and even adding another language to her repertoire - because love sometimes sounds like learning new words just to speak to the people who raised the man you prayed for. Through every mile, every conversation, and even through sleepy friends at lunch, they see God's hand guiding them, turning distance into devotion and two stories into one.
