Our dress code is black-tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown, midi- or knee-length cocktail dress, or pantsuit would be appropriate. Please note that the ceremony space is on grass, so we recommend avoiding thin heels!
We recommend flying into Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) — it’s small, easy to navigate, and just a short drive to downtown Charlottesville. If you find better flight options, Richmond (RIC) and Dulles (IAD) are also great alternatives within a couple of hours’ drive.
Yes! We will have several buses available to pick guests up from downtown Charlottesville and return at the end of the night. That said, space will be limited — if you’re able to drive, there will be parking available at Castle Hill.
The ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn, followed by cocktails on the patio and an indoor reception. Please note that the ceremony space is on grass, so we suggest skipping stilettos! Of course, all of this is weather dependent, and we’ll have a plan in place just in case.
We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name (or “and guest”) will appear on the envelope. Thank you for understanding as we keep our guest list intimate.
Yes, children are welcome! We just ask that parents keep an eye on their little ones during the festivities so everyone can enjoy the evening safely.
Please book early! If the hotel block is booked up, please reach out to let us know so we can try to request additional rooms. If the hotels are full, it is out of our hands.
