We’re getting married!

Kristina and i met on september 19th 2016 on a dating app. I had stumbled upon Kristina’s profile and decided to say hello. We began talking and started out slow since the app never notified us when the other would reply back. Four days after we met we exchanged phone numbers and began to text each other everyday. Immediately we realized we had so much in common and shared a lot of the same family values. Four months after we met online we met in person for the first time for a date. We had Japanese food and went to the drive in to watch the movie sing. Fast forward here we are four years later living together with kristina’s parents and about to get married.

From the very start of our relationship I knew that Kristina was the one. I knew one day we woud be married. Over time getting to know kristina and finding out her mom was from the Netherlands and how special of a place it was to kristina i knew one day we would go. I had many thoughts and ideas of how i wanted to propose and where but, i changed my mind 100 times. I needed to make sure the moment was absolutely perfect. So in 2019 when i found out we would be making the long journey to Europe i knew I needed to finalize my plans. Last minute while we were already in Europe I decided to find and hire a photographer and hoped that i could convince kristina to take photos with me. I thankfully got her to agree to a photoshoot in paris with the Eiffel tower behind us and it was perfect. After several photos the photographer set up a shot with kristina facing the Eiffel tower and with me right behind her I began my speech none of which I can remember because of my nerves. Once i think she realized what was happening i asked her to please turn around and I got down on one knee. She looked at me so surprised she smiled and said “No you didn’t!” Then she smiled even bigger and said “yes!” Then I told her “you gotta help me I can’t get up.” Even the photographer was laughing. We hugged a lot and I ugly cried a lot. It was better than i could have ever imagined. We are 2 months away from our wedding now and oculdnt be more excited to share this joirney with you all.
