Kavanapura, KA 562159, India

Traditional Indian attire is preferred. This is a sacred ritual, so modest and respectful clothing is appreciated.

The Upanayanam is a sacred and personal ceremony for the groom, marking his spiritual initiation into a life of learning, discipline, and inner responsibility. He receives the Yagnopaveetham (sacred thread), symbolizing his conscious step into maturity and duty (dharma). While guests are welcome to witness this milestone, the heart of the ritual is introspective—rooted in tradition and personal growth. It is both a family blessing and a vow to walk a life guided by purpose. Breakfast will be served during the Upanayanam.
