Unfortunately yes. While we had hoped to celebrate with everyone in the same time, it has become clear over the past several months that it would not be responsible to have a large wedding this year. We have reduced our guest list to the smallest possible number of family and friends to attend in person and have hired a videographer to livestream the ceremony for everyone else to attend virtually. We are also making plans for a party next year where we can celebrate with you all in person!
Everyone who attends the wedding in person will be required by local regulations to wear a mask. We will provide one to all attendees as they arrive at the church (or break out your fanciest party mask — just no pink flamingo masks, please!). If you need one prior to arriving at the church just let us know.
We ask that you follow all guidance from your local jurisdiction as well as from Virginia and DC, including travel restrictions. If you need to update your RSVP at any time please just let us know. We completely understand if you are unable to attend due to the pandemic. Please do not put yourselves or anyone else at risk for the sake of our wedding.
Only those people who are named on your invitation are invited to attend. Thank you for understanding the current limitations on the size of our guest list.
