Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

630 George Hannum Road, Belchertown MA. The ceremony will be by the birch tree in the field across the street from the house and the reception will be in a tent in the same field.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire! Here is a great guide for what semi-formal means: www.thespruce.com/semi-formal-attire-guidelines-1216504. The ceremony and reception will take place in a field, so ladies will want to wear wedges or flats. The average day/night temperature in October is 60/40 degrees, so please bring a sweater. We will have heaters in the tent.

Where should I park?

There will be parking along the side of the field. Don't worry, there will be a sign!

What are we eating?

Answer

There will be a buffet: Greek salad, marinated tomato, mozzarella, and basil, teriyaki chicken breast and beef kabobs, grilled squash medley and rice pilaf, and apple cider doughnuts and assorted desserts. Please let us know in advance if you'd like a vegetarian meal and we will have the caterers prepare a stuffed pepper for you. We will also have gluten free desserts.

Is it open bar?

Yes! We're getting a keg and bottles of wine. There will not be a bartender or hard liquor. Please feel free to bring your own beer if you'd like.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 3:00. Please arrive 20 minutes early.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes, but please try to keep photography to a minimum during the ceremony itself. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to document the day and they aren't looking to capture other people taking pictures!

Can I bring my child?

Answer

Yes. Please let us know in advance if you need a booster seat for the reception. But if you'd like a night away, that's fine too!

If your invitation envelope says "guest," then yes!

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Yes! We will have a table for gifts as well as a box for honeymoon fund donations. We also have cash funds that you can find under the "Registry" tab.

On this website under the "RSVP" tab by September 1, 2019.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

No, because most of our guests are local. There are several hotel options listed under the "Travel" tab on this site. Please book your room soon!
