Can I bring a date?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Ladies should wear full dresses and gentlemen can wear a tuxedo or a full suit with either a long tie or bow tie. We included examples under the "Attire" tab, but if you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The only kids invited to the wedding will be in the wedding. While we adore your children, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles that will take guests to and from the each hotel and wedding venue. There will also be parking available if you choose to drive.

How can I get to Lake Oconee?

Answer

For those who live close enough to make it a road trip, there is parking at every hotel! For those who live further away, the closest airport to Lake Oconee is Atlanta. The Atlanta airport is roughly 90 minutes from Lake Oconee and there is a shuttle service that runs to and from both locations. More thorough instructions for how to book that will be provided under the "travel" tab. There are also rental cars at the airport if that is preferred. There are no Ubers in the area, so a rental car would be helpful to get places outside of wedding events. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Shuttles will be arriving to each hotel to take you to the ceremony. Timing for each shuttle pickup will be provided closer to the event! For those of you driving, it is recommended to arrive 30 minutes early.
