There are hotel options available in Minneapolis; however, please note it is approximately a 2.5-hour drive to the venue in Clarissa. Closer to the venue, you’ll find a variety of comfortable lodging options, including hotels as well as vacation rentals through Airbnb and Vrbo. If you’re looking for more restaurants and shopping, we recommend exploring accommodations in Alexandria. For a smaller-town feel, consider staying in Sauk Centre or Long Prairie, which offer more limited dining and shopping options. For guests who prefer a quieter, more rural stay, there are also many lake-area Airbnb and Vrbo properties nearby that provide a charming, rustic experience.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly ask that guests wear formal attire in respect of the sacred Catholic Nuptial Mass. Please ensure shoulders and knees are covered during the Mass.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 11:00 AM so you have plenty of time to get settled before the ceremony begins. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

As our wedding will be a destination celebration, we will not have a way to travel home with physical gifts. Most importantly, your presence at our wedding is truly the only gift we hope for. If you were already considering a gesture, we would be honored by a donation to Colby’s Crew Rescue, a rescue that is very close to our hearts. Your support of their work helping horses, donkeys, and mules would mean so much to us.
