Sara and Zach attended middle and high school together. However, their story really began in 2016 at Palio’s Pizza in Grapevine, Texas- on Sara’s very first day of work and Zach’s regular shift as a delivery driver. While Sara was nervously running the cash register, she couldn’t figure out how to rip the receipt… and Zach jumped in to save the day (a moment he still refuses to let her forget). That small interaction sparked a fast friendship that carried them through college and beyond. As their friendship grew, so did their bond. When Sara became an assistant manager and had to stay late closing the restaurant, Zach stayed with her every single time to make sure she wasn't by herself. On super late nights, he would even follow her home just to make sure she got inside safely. On extended breaks from college when Zach was working and Sara wasn’t, she somehow still found excuses to stop by Palio’s just to sit with Zach as he washed dishes or ride along with him on deliveries. After years of being close friends and spending most weekends together alongside their friend group, one night at their hometown bar they finally decided to be more than friends. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable!
