Mint Museum Uptown
Not only a great wedding venue, but also a lovely place to explore on a Saturday! After exploring the museum, we recommend grabbing a bite to eat in the French Quarter, followed by a walk around Romare Bearden Park.
Levine Museum of the New South
Another great museum to visit if you want to learn a little bit more about North Carolina history. We also recommend stopping by 7th Street Market for food and shopping nearby.
Bank of America Stadium
We love the Panthers! We recommend visiting the stadium and FYI, looks like the Panthers are playing the Patriots Sunday November 7th at 1PM!
South End
This is where our relationship started. A LOT has changed since we lived there, but some of our favorite spots are Seoul Meat Food Company, Wooden Robot, Beer Garden, Hoppin and of course Midnight Diner!
Plaza Midwood
Lively neighborhood to visit! We recommend checking out the food at Soul Gastrolounge (need res ahead of time), beer at Legion Brewing, drinks/games at Thomas Street Tavern, and also Bistro La Bon has a great brunch!
NoDa
Charlotte’s hipster neighborhood! We recommend Amelie's French Bakery and Cafe, Heist Brewery, Cabo Fish Taco, and the Blind Pig.
Whitewater Center
Located a bit on the outskirts Charlotte and requires exactly $6 for parking, but well worth the trip to walk around the trails, grab a beer and enjoy some music. Also feel free to take on the river rafting, zip lines, rock climbing, and ropes courses - pending what is available in November!
Lake Norman
Water may be a bit cold in November, but still worth a visit to one of North Carolina's largest man made lake!
Davidson College
Sara's alma mater and heck at this point Stuart is an honorary Wildcat! The college town is a joy to walk about, and be sure to check out restaurants such as Kindred and the Pickled Peach!
