Six years later we have survived late nights in NYC, early mornings at WFR, a spontaneous trip (and chaotic travel story) to Mexico, endless roundtrips, and constant life debriefs. I would say we are a lifelong package deal. I am so honored to stand beside Sara on her wedding day.

I met Sara during my college years at UW through the INN and Younglife, though technically I met her from the audience first. I watched her perform a beautiful dance at a Younglife event. When we officially met we knew we were going to be friends. Since then, we've shared so many sweet adventures together, from college ministry moments and weekend getaways to spontaneous bike rides, laughs, deep talks and memories that I'll treasure forever. She brings so much joy and warmth into every space she enters, and my life has simply been more fun with her in it. I'm beyond grateful she's found Scoutt to keep exploring, dreaming and adventuring through life with. Blessings and love to both of them!

My name is Matthew Barvels, and I've been fortunate to be friends with Scoutt for over a decade. We met early in our Army careers, and were able to spend most of our time in the service working together. He was always someone I could depend on, and his humor and wit were always able to make even the most challenging days enjoyable. Scoutt was present for my wife and I's marriage vows in the mountains, and we're thrilled to share this experience with Scoutt and Sara!
