What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Dresses knee length or longer, jumpsuits, dressy separates, and suits/sport coats with ties are preferred. Please note the ceremony and reception take place on grass, for your comfort stilettos and thin heels are not recommended.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. We kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. If you have additional questions, please contact us directly.

Can children attend?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends! However, due to space limitations, we kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. If you have additional questions, please contact us directly.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place completely outdoors so please plan accordingly, keep in mind it can get cold once the sunsets. Guests will be walking mostly on grass, for that reason, stiletto or thin heels are not recommended.

Is there a reserved hotel block?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at Chateau Big Bear. Please book your stay by May 15 to guarantee a room in our block. Use the link on the travel page to book and receive our reduced rate.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free onsite parking or free parking on the streets surrounding the venue. Please note, cars cannot be parked overnight.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, we will provide a shuttle between Chateau Big Bear and our wedding venue. The shuttle will run before the ceremony and after the reception for your convenience. Please indicate your shuttle plans when you RSVP.

Are there Ubers or Lyfts available?

Answer

In Big Bear, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are limited. We recommend either driving yourself to the venue or taking advantage of our shuttle service. Please plan on driving or RSVP for the shuttle to ensure your transportation is arranged.
