January 2024: we meet in a little coffee shop in an alley in downtown San Francisco. A fully intentional but relaxed coffee date turned into a tiki bar evening. What started as a short and sweet first encounter left us curious for more. Patrick was heading back to Germany, but we stayed in touch over photos, memes and increasingly elaborate "morning messages." At first a way to chat and learn more about each other virtually, these daily exchanges became an eagerly awaited routine. We met whenever we could -- a work trip to Zurich, a pasta-and-wine filled weekend in Milan, 4th of July in Los Angeles, a family lake trip in Berlin, a birthday trip to Greece -- choosing each other again and again, we criss-crossed the world, ready for our next adventure together. After two years of back and forth, we were ready to make it official. On October 10th, 2025 we were married by Chase at Corona Heights Park, overlooking all of San Francisco. Following a small ceremony with immediate family, we took the F train down Market St. to the court house to certify the paperwork, take photobooth pictures, and have a cozy dinner. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you. Can't wait to see you there!
