Who would have thought after so many years of going to the same schools we didn't actually cross paths until our senior year of highschool. We became friends on social media and that summer before starting college, we bumped into each other a few times. It so happened that one of Mynor's closest friends, Peter, had dated one of my closest friends, Velena. We met up at the OC Fair that summer and hung out in a large group but never really talked or hung out one on one. During our first year of college we both had a couple classes together and we started talking and hanging out. He became one of my closest friends then my best friend for 3 years straight. After some crazy day drinking and hanging out, we made it back home. We were sitting in the car laughing and talking, when Mynor said he wished we were more than friends. I looked past it, I knew him too well and didn't think he meant it. A couple months later he brought it up again and made me tell him how I really felt. We gave it a shot, we started dating and exactly a week later he asked me to be his girlfriend before dinner was even served. I can be very stubborn but it was the best desicion I ever made.

We were at home hanging out, I ran out to get the mail and came back to Mynor telling me I wasn't allowed to hang out with Emmy and him upstairs. I laughed it off and said fine by me. I sat down at the bottom of the stairs and started sorting through the mail. I heard him coming downstairs so ran off to the side, he was holding Emmy in his arms so I came out. I told him I wouldn't scare him if he was holding her because then I would scare her haha. I turned around and walked away. He told me to wait and I did but I was looking down. He told me to look at him and when I looked up he was down on one knee with Emmy in one arm and the ring in another. He said to me "you and my daughter are the best thing that have ever happened to me, I can't imagine my life without you so I'm asking you, will you marry me?" I started crying and told him that if he was messing with me that was really messed up. He started laughing and said he was serious. Of course I said YES and we kissed.
