We're Getting Married!

We met in the spring semester of 2012 during Miguel's senior year of high school in El Paso, Texas. We both were part of the Student Council committee at Americas High School and had 6th period class together where we initially met. We started hanging out outside of school within a large group of our mutual friends, went on multiple school field trips together, he asked me to be his date to his senior prom and the rest is history! Here we are 10 years later planning a wedding!

The proposal was a two series celebration; On the first night Miguel had bought tickets to the frozen broadway musical as a Christmas present for Sara. Prior to the musical we had dinner reservations to a rooftop restaurant in downtown Chicago. Once we were done with dinner, we walked hand in hand just the two of us to the theater and Miguel turned to Sara and proposed! The next day, it snowed (if you know Sara, you know she always wanted to get proposed to in the snow) and Miguel made plans for another fabulous dinner, ice skated at the ribbon skating rink in downtown and walked around in the snow around the park where the famous Chicago bean is.
