The wedding ceremony will be outside in a snow-packed courtyard and the reception inside a heated building. We recommend long dresses and suits and closed-toed shoes and a warm coat. It is winter in Colorado. Although it will be warmer in Denver, we recommend long sleeves, pants, a hat, a warm vest or thermal layers, gloves, and a warm coat. You will also likely need sunglasses and sunscreen as Colorado has 300 days of sun (The weather also changes every 5 minutes, it's part of the charm!). Será invierno en Colorado. Leadville is about 2.5 hours driving time from Denver (guests should fly into Denver, Colorado). We recommend renting cars in small groups as a car is useful in the mountains. Currently we have not arranged transportation from the wedding venue to hotels as Leadville is a small town and we hope everyone should be close enough that the venue will be just a short walk.
