We have a great zoo here in Brevard! There's a train ride, plus fun areas for kids to play.
Enjoy a unique Florida experience and take an airboat ride!
If you're looking to do Disney without the costs, you may be interested in a day trip over to Disney Springs! Parking is free, and there's no ticket / admission required. There are multiple restaurant, shopping, and entertainment options! Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex are popular with younger kids. We love Raglan Road and Wine Bar George! Another way to do Disney without the parks would be making dining reservations through the My Disney Experience app at one of the resorts.
Another unique Florida experience. There are museums, and they offer tours of the space complexes as well.
We love to kayak in the area! Reach out to us for specific recommendations if you're interested. Paddling Paradise has many options for rentals and could also point you in the right direction!
Sebastian Inlet is a great short trip to take. The Tide Pools is a popular area to take smaller kids, where they can play in shallow water. There's always some wild fishing taking place off the inlet.
The brisket from Cryderman's is Matt's love language. There are two locations, and both are great!
We recommend getting a chicken or beef gringo, with rice & beans local style!
Their sandwiches are great - but their macaroni salad is out of this world!
Our favorite pizza! Bizzarro's only takes cash, but they have an ATM there. You'll likely need to pay for parking, as a heads up.
